Welcome to Chosenmetal.com, Chosen's final resting place.

Chosen was a project undertaken by Troy Feltz, Steve Koran, Brian Riek, and Dave Kieta.  Chosen played out in Southern Wisconsin and recorded a 14 track CD which was released in 2003.  They eventually broke up over differences in direction.  One member decided playing volleyball was more important.  One wanted to continue to create new music and record it, while the others wanted to do more cover tunes to make it easier to get gigs.  Their music didn't cause any kind of revolution.  It didn't even cover much new ground.  It did however resonate with a wide range of listeners from the Midwest of the United States to South America and as far away as Europe.  Chosen's notable accomplishments included:

Chosen's self titled cd was named Quintessence Metal Webzines #4 independent release of 2003.
Chosen had 7 of their 13 tracks reviewed by Garageband.com receive track of the day honors.
Chosen is still in rotation on metalnetradio.com and hardrockin80s.com.
Chosen was Rusty Metal Radio's artist of the month for September 2003.
Chosen was featured on "The Channel Path", MMI's 2003 compilation cd representing the best artists they've recorded.
Chosen received 7.5 of 10 possible stars for their cd at Strutterzine metal web magazine.
